Ugg-session...

About 2 years I came upon my worst addiction that I swore I would never take part in: Uggs. Now on this Saturday night (while I'm supposed to be preparing for torture week at school....) Now, I happen to be watching one of my favorite movies Because I Said So, and I have somehow managed to fail to notice the variety of colors that all 4 (Diane Keaton, Mandy Moore, Lauren Graham, and Piper Perabo) of the main character women wear. It then encouraged me to go over to www.Uggs.com and take a look at what was new on the site.

Upon searching around, I found the Cardy style Uggs that I fell in love with over the winter... but now, they're even better! For the Spring they now have 4 new deliciously cool, cute colors! Now, aside from coming in Black, White, and Gray... They also come in (drumroll please! ... ... ... ...)
(Sorbet)

(Mulberry)

(Jacaranda)

And last but not least, and my personal favorite!

(Pool)

As you can see, aside from being in deliciously cute colors, they can be worn about a million different ways, making them even better! These boots run for $140...

Enjoy!

Cheese!

I am one of those people who CONSTANTLY has their camera with them. I have several 1,000's of photos on my computer that I have taken in only the past four years. I am also quite often found looking at other peoples pictures on a regular basis. I also love seeing couples cute, professional pictures together, which my boyfriend, Zach, has often called cheesey and pointless (gasp!). Therefor, I had given up all hope that we would ever get those cute photographs together.

However, I was taken by complete surprise this year when Christmas came around and Zach told me I wouldn't be getting my present for a little bit because he was taking me somewhere as my present... I had NO clue where we would be going (which I'll admit drove me a little nuts.... surprises aren't my most favorite thing in the world.) Then, one snowy Saturday, Zach told me to 'wear black and make sure I like how my hair looked.' I'll be honest, one of the things that popped into my head was that we were going to get pictures taken... but knowing his past remarks in regards to couple pictures before, I didn't get my hopes up too high.

That day, we met up and sure enough Zach took me to JCPenny's and we got our pictures taken together!

(This picture was my favorite of the day!)

After our photo shoot he even took me to one of the most delicious and authentic Italian restaurants (Fasagios in Perkasie, PA) that I have ever been to!

Overall, it was just such a thoughtful day that he put together for me. I appreciated greatly that he went completely out of his comfort zone in order to do something that he knew would make me really happy!

What has your significant other gone out of their way to do in order to make you happy, even if it's not something they would really want?

Wonderful World of Blogging

For months I told myself I would set up a blog and I was my usual self and procrastinated over and over again. But now here I am and quite proud of myself that it's finally all set up! Granted I was my normal picky self and it took me almost 2 hours in order to get the colors the way I'd like them. :)

In order to get myself into this world, I figure I'd steal my '25 Random Things' from my Facebook page... I am going to change some things though!

1. I love children and can't wait to be a teacher within the next few years. At orientation to Temple I changed my major from Journalism to Education because I knew I wasn't following my heart.

2. I love love love organizing things.

3. I have a boyfriend, Zach, who I have been with for almost 3 years now. Our anniversary is 04.05.06 and I absolutely love that. :)

4. I am not embarrassed to say that I watch professional wrestling on a weekly bases, for several hours!

5. I have an under active thyroid gland and it makes my weight fluctuate, A LOT.

6. I love my parents so much and am really glad that I am so close to them. I also have two sisters, Brittany (who is 18) and Lauren (who is 15.) We are really close, but I am closer with Lauren (even though she's 6 years younger than me.) Though, Brittany and I have become a lot closer.

7. I love reading about wars of the past. (especially Vietnam War, Civil War, and WWII.)

8. 3 of my grandparents died within a year and a half and it was truly one of the roughest times of my life. I lost them when I was 12-13 years old and wish they were still here for all of the big moments within the past several years. My grandpop is still alive though and I love him so much.

9. I have really curly hair, and until the past couple years I hated it and straightened my hair everyday. People called me Shirley Temple when I was little.

10. I am obsessed with my blackberry and feel lost without it.

11. I can dislocate my hip and my thumb!

12. I've never broken a bone, but have broken one of my front teeth 2 times, so now half of it is fake!

13. A lot of really famous movies I have never seen (i.e. Forest Gump, E.T., Star Wars), but I have become determined to see a lot more.

14. I have 3 tattoos: Music notes on my ankle, a yellow rose on my foot, and a dove on my back.

15. I used to think Uggs were REALLY ugly, yet now I own 3 pairs?!

16. My whole family is from South Philly= I love the Philadelphia Mummers (my cousin is the captain of Fralinger)and Cheese steaks... a lot!!

17. My biggest pet peeves are bad drivers (i.e. not using a turn signal), when people don't cover their mouth when they yawn (ew!), and people who have music on their headphones turned up really loud so everyone else can hear.

18. My favorite movie is Father of the Bride and I've seen it well over 200 times.

19. I can't wait to be a wife and mom some day... I want 4 or 5 kids.

20. I have had the same best friend since I was 4 years old, and although she lives in Florida now, we remain close and I am really grateful for that.

21. I am 21 years old and have more conservative views than most people my age and it makes me feel uncomfortable to tell people some times.

22. I LOVE watching baseball (Go Phillies!) I won an online drawing for tickets to game 5 of the world series last year and didn't get the e-mail in time... it haunts me to this day! BUT the parade was definitely one of the coolest things I have ever been to! I also LOVE watching football. (Go Eagles!)

23. I can be really emotional... I sometimes cry for the heck of it, but it usually just makes me feel better.

24. My middle name is Frances and I used to not like that because for some reason I used to get made fun of for it. Now I absolutely love it and wouldn't want any other name.

25. I have to be cold in order to sleep. Even if it is 30 degrees out I sleep with the fan on. I have bad dreams if I'm warm when I go to sleep.
